Purpose
Dividend Portal publishes general and impersonal financial research intended for education. Our editorial system is designed to make material claims, calculations and conclusions traceable to identified evidence.
Editorial independence
We do not accept compensation from issuers, brokers, funds, affiliates, sponsors or covered securities for coverage. Commercial considerations do not determine a research conclusion or rating.
Evidence standard
Material quantitative claims should be supported by SEC filings, issuer documents, government datasets or other clearly identified sources. We distinguish reported facts, Dividend Portal calculations, estimates and research conclusions.
Research workflow
Research begins with a defined question, eligible universe and source manifest. Calculations must use documented definitions and pass automated identity, period, unit, reconciliation, formula and publication checks. Failed blocking checks prevent publication.
Human approval
Neil Jones provides final human publication approval during the initial launch. This approval does not represent review by an investment adviser, securities analyst or attorney. Professional review is identified only when it actually occurred.
Negative assessments
Company-specific criticism must describe observable facts before conclusions, link to supporting evidence, state counterevidence and avoid implying undisclosed misconduct. Risk classifications are research estimates, not instructions to buy, sell or hold.
Corrections
Material corrections are dated, described and propagated to affected calculations and reports. We do not silently erase substantive errors. Readers and issuers may submit factual corrections through the published corrections channel.
